The New Arcadia model in Tapestry
Arcadia refers to a vision of harmony with nature. Deriving from the Greek province on the Peloponnese peninsula, Arcadia was later developed into a poetic byword for an idyllic vision of unspoiled wilderness. Arcadia became a symbol of pastoral simplicity during the Renaissance period and implied an idyllic location or paradise, differing from the Utopian as living life naturally, uncorrupted be civilization.
The inhabitants were often regarded as having continued to live after the manner of the Golden Age without the pride and avarice that corrupted other regions. The New World and specifically its northern Atlantic providences were originally named Arcadia by the French. "Wikepedia"
