The Neverland Model

With a little sprinkle of pixie dust . . .

We created a new home in Troy Burne Village


It was affectionately known as the enchanted cottage




otherwise known as The Neverland.


It blossomed in the imagination of our clients.


This home was "cottage" through and through


Both on the outside


and on the inside


The woodwork was painted a soft linen white


old world details were carefully considered


such as this clawfoot tub in the owner's suite


or the apron sink, reminiscent of a country farmhouse.


The built in desk on the main level provides a central hub of organization


as does the pantry, with its beadboard doors.
Notice how the gleaming black granite counters are topped by white subway tile.


Panelized wainscotting was included in many rooms


the mud room was carefully sized for cubbies and basket storage


A traditional brick fireplace and painted mantel provide a cozy focal point in the main level gathering room


The main level powder bath has wainscotting behind the porcelain fixtures


The dining room enjoys an antique crystal light fixture


The rich dark stain of the hardcarved hardwood flooring and railings provides a marked contrast to the white woodwork
